A green and white ocean jasper* with a single rosy dot hangs on a sterling and copper bale with unpolished jade and genuine Campo Frio turquoise, punctuated by freshwater pearls.
An ornate sterling silver hook and two-inch sterling extender chain enable you to adjust the length variably from 16.5 to 18.75."
*Ocean jasper is one of the rarest gemstones you’ll ever see--rarer than diamonds. First discovered in 1999 and fully mined out, it comes from only one place: a small area in Madagascar. The original two deposits were found underwater, hence the name ocean jasper. There are other varieties of orbicular jasper, jasper with circles and rings, but the specimens from Madagascar feature uniquely clean and smooth dots and concentric circles, making them most highly valued. They come in a variety of colors and my favorite stones feature areas of druzy crystals as well. Learn more about ocean jasper here.

Imperfections are as lovely in a natural gemstone as they are in human beings. You won't find the consistency of glass in my stones. There will be flaws in gems, and inconsistencies between pairs. Relax. Individuality, not uniformity, shows off your gift to the world.
Caring for your jewelry is as simple as protecting your silver from oxidation. A plastic bag will do.
