Shell Point is a natural gem
Not a town nor a zip code, Shell Point is a sweet little geographic area, capturing corners of both Beaufort and Port Royal, South Carolina. This is quintessential “Lowcountry.”

I live here, just two blocks from Battery Creek: a tidal river where great blue herons fish and crabs play. At low tide rivulets of salt water run past mounds of wild oysters clinging to one another on the pluff mud as sanderlings and egrets wade the shallows for their lunch.

Shell-Point.com

This site has evolved from offering jewelry featuring genuine gemstones and sterling silver, to also including wide variety of greeting cards plus art by myself and my son, James Strazza.

Browse a variety of styles and media and, hopefully, find something you can personally relate to.

Designer Based in Shell Point, South Carolina

Putting on a fancy pair of earrings in the morning can actually make the day a little brighter.

This is my inspiration for designing everything you see here. I hope you enjoy wearing or giving my jewelry as much as I enjoy making it.

Here’s a little about me:

  • Retired graphic designer and marketer

  • Lifelong poet, writer, illustrator

  • Single parent to six children

  • Caregiver to a chronically ill adult son

I’m inspired by nature, by color, and by my own desire to feel a little fancy as I pad about my home with my Westie. I want you to feel fancy too.
